Most of you know Nora, even if you don't realize it. She is responsible for creating the content you see hanging in the lobby and read in your programs before every show. You may also recognize her from leading our post-show talkbacks. She is our intrepid Associate Artistic Director, and we are proud to announce that she is the Fall 2012 recipient of The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA) Dramaturg Driven Grant. LMDA is a volunteer membership organization for the professions of literary management and dramaturgy. From LMDA's announcement: "Nora will attend the international Napoli Theatre Festival in Naples, Italy in June 2013, in order to connect contemporary Italian performance to the Italian and Italian-American community's traditional Saints' Feasts in Boston's North End by creating a performance piece inspired by the Festival.

This project is a means of further development for Nora as an artist by broadening her access to Italian artists for translations and future exchange possibilities, enhancing her value in the North End community as a cultural contributor, and strengthening her language skills." We know you value Nora's work as much as we do, and we are so excited for her to have this opportunity. You can learn more about LMDA at their website, lmda.org.
