Meet our Newest Board Members!
During this time when the COVID-19 pandemic has put live theatre in Boston on pause, the Lyric Stage is thrilled and grateful to welcome four new members to its Board of Directors.
These four people bring experience in theatre, fundraising, and finance, but more importantly, they bring the determination that institutions like Lyric Stage should be preserved and protected so that once this pandemic passes, we can all gather to enjoy culture together again.
Jazzmin Bonner is a native Bostonian who is thrilled to be joining the Lyric Stage family. She is a theatre lover and fan, an arts manager, and represents a few different arts organizations in the Boston area. She is passionate about the dialogue between theater companies and the communities they serve. When she is not doing theater, she can be found at the beach, petting her rabbits, or at the boxing gym.
Katie Burkhart crafts strategies based on logic and driven by purpose, delivering critical perspective, focus, and organization while constantly distilling the big picture into simple, meaningful actions. She started by founding Matter 7, a firm that builds purpose-driven brands. She currently serves as the lead brand strategist. She is also the founder and CEO of impact tech company MatterPulse. She’s thrilled to be returning to theatre in a new way at the Lyric Stage.
Sasha Castroverde has over ten years of fundraising experience in education and arts organizations of all sizes. In her previous life, she was a professional actor and performed in several Lyric Stage productions. She earned her BA from Emerson College and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. Sasha is very excited to be back at the Lyric Stage and looks forward to getting to know the theatre from a different side of the stage.
